Challenge: Read the classics in 2011

Everyone’s been having reading challenges for 2011. These past few years,  (I couldn’t remember which particular year, though), I’ve managed to read a lot of Nicholas Sparks and M. Crichton books and these all time classics.

  • The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
  • The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
  • Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery
  • To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (my absolute favorite)
  • The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells

This coming 2011, I will be challenging myself to read the classics! ♥ They aren’t exactly ten books if you look a little bit more closely at my list.

***10 Books I will be reading on 2011***

  1. Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll
  2. The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne
  3. The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
  4. Persuasion by Jane Austen
  5. The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
    • The Magician’s Nephew
    • The Lion, the Witch, the Wardrobe
    • The Horse and His Boy
    • Prince Caspian: The Return to Narnia
    • Voyage of the Dawn Treader
    • The Silver Chair
    • The Last Battle
  6. Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis

I will be placing two dates at the end of each entry, specifically the date when I started reading the book, and the other, the date when I finished reading it. I will update this list as I go along. ♥♥♥
