I am so happy and relieved about that mysterious major change that I thought was so inevitable (I mentioned this in my last post). It’s not happening! =) I can now sleep well at night thinking there are great days ahead. Spoiling my good mood for the day are the always present brownouts in Iloilo City. Six to seven hours of no electricity at home? Grrr… No air conditioning, no tv, and no internet? I kept reminding myself to buy a UPS for my computer this week. It’s always worth the money if I think about what will happen to my computer if these blackouts kept occurring. Talk about damage control… My desktop computer is 8 years old. Within those 8 years, my motherboard has been replaced, as well as my processor and power supply. I still have that 40GB hard drive that’s slowly filling up. Thank God I bought Transcend’s 320 GB portable hard drive a few months ago. I also have that old CRT monitor that I badly needed to be replaced with something bigger (LCD, of course)! Lots of must buy these and that, I don’t really need them. My pc isn’t dead yet, but it’s heading there – dying slowly!!! *sigh*
