Have you ever heard of Gimme Bar? I just signed up for it after reading about it on the swissmiss blog. It’s a visual booksaving service. Emphasis is made on visual booksaving rather than on visual bookmarking.

Hmmm… okay. The first thing that comes into my mind, is this like Pinterest? You grab a pic onto your gimme bar, you’re made to choose whether you want it to be private or in public which is kinda cool and it’s something that Pinterest doesn’t have. You can categorize it and give it hashtags. You can save videos and text with Gimme Bar. Nice! ♥ What’s even cooler is that you can take a screenshot of an entire website or blog down to its footer with a single click of a button! Yay! You can back up everything but the videos into your Dropbox account. ;) Pinterest doesn’t have those. You can also follow people, and add their discoveries to your library.
