I’ve always love food. And this Christmas, we gave Korean food a try since we’ve seen one or two of these restaurants in town. These are the ‘highlights’ of our meal. Haha.

Kimbap. I call them Korean sushi since they do resemble sushi.

Kimchi is probably the best known Korean food. I’m not really fond of the spicy flavor and the smell. Eek.

Besides samgyapsal (the fave which we did not order), the bulgogi is also a favorite. :) I think it’s just typical beef with a smoky sweet flavor.
Sorry, we haven’t taken enough photos. ;) Have you also tried Korean food?

I haven’t tried Korean food. What’s your recommendation?
Also, happy holiday :)
Putdar,
I’d suggest trying some Korean BBQ such as Bulgogi. :)
Oh my… I want the bulgogi!
I absolutely love Korean food.
Thank you for making me hungry now :p
I tried it for the first time in Charlotte, NC and I LOVE Korean BBQ! Favorite. I also feel the same way about Kimchi. I’m willing to give it another try though!
i’ve had korean food exactly twice… once to a real-deal korean restaurant in k-town, and another time at a frou-frou place in williamsburg. i honestly can’t remember the meal either time… but i do remember i didn’t hate it. it’s a start :)
Oh my!! All of this looks so delicious!!

I’m glad that you like Korean food!
I’ve made kimbob and it was lots of work but still it was so much fun :)
I’m vegetarian so I like spicy tofu and my hubby loves spicy pork :D
Looks yummy! I’ve never had it before (at least I don’t think I have) but now I’ll have to seek it out.
[...] our 6th year together. I think I’m in love with the food! It’s so much better than the Korean food we tried. Except for the wasabi, that is. And I need to practice more in using the [...]
