Two more weeks

I’m in a total dilemma right now. I will be booking two tickets online tomorrow for my Davao/ Kidapawan trip on the first week of October (that’s two weeks from now), and I can’t still made up my mind if I’m gonna stay there for two weeks or just one. I hope my stay will not be boring. This will be my second trip outside the Panay Island via an airplane. Haha! Poor me. I also don’t know if I can go explore on my own in Kidapawan (that’s where I’m gonna stay). Lots of news about bombings there. You see, I’m going to the southern part of the Philippines where there are lots of Muslim communities. I’m going to need a bit of good luck.

I’m happy to know there will be internet. Of course. I have lots of nieces and nephews, so I hope they will not be hogging the computer. I need to check my emails, and be kept updated of your blogs. ;) I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’m gonna buy my camera before the trip. I have my eye on Canon 550D – good for new users like me. So they say. What do you think? I’ve decided I’m gonna buy it with the kitlens- an 18-55mm. And another 50mm f1.8 lens (thanks to Blackbird and Shell’s Eadaoin!). The camera bag is another story. Jo Totes and Epiphanie bags are now the craze! Ha!

Oooh, good luck!!! It’s kind of sad, wishing you good luck on what should be a fun and simple trip. Hopefully one day all the nastiness will be behind us (meaning: the world) and we don’t have to worry about such stuff.

I bet you’re so excited! I have a serious case of wanderlust – I’d love to see every state, every country. I even like visiting a different city in my own state! ^_-

Hope you have a wonderful trip! You’ll love the Canon 550D and the 50M 1.8 is a great little lens, lots of bang for the buck. I have one in my bag.

  4. Mindanao is such a big place. Kidapawan isn’t really that big of a place and it is relatively safe. You can walk around on your own. Night day.. whatever…
