What are you reading today?

Lately, I miss reading a good book. Besides my love for Nancy Drew (it’s something that I think every little girl should not miss to read) and Michael Crichton (sci-fi adventures), I also have the longing to get my hands on something classic. This week, I’m currently reading Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. ;)

  1. I’m finally reading The Book Thief. I picked it up at a used book store this weekend, and I’m loving it so far. It’s very poetic.

I am reading a book called Thirteen Reasons Why. It’s good but depressing. I would also highly recommend reading The Hunger Games if you haven’t already, especially since the movie is coming out soon.

You know, I read Pride and Prejudice.
    I couldn’t stand it, haha.
But I was required to read it my senior year in high school(which was only a year ago, haha) and I usually don’t like books I’m “forced” to read.
I hope you enjoy it more than me!

  4. The last book I read was The Help….about 6 months ago. With kids, I don’t read a lot. I could but then I couldn’t blog. ;)

Have you read Anna Karenina? Depressing but a beautiful amazing story.

I often feel like I don’t read enough either….but going back to the basics (like Austen) always helps me get back on track.
