Where I’ve been – the New Israel

In two days, I’ll be going back to work. I’m so glad I was able to take a real vacation . At first I was worried about the internet – about whether I’m gonna still be able to check on my emails, and probably do some blogging. It turned out there was no blogging for me but I was able read everybody’s emails. Hmmm… I was thinking I would probably buy myself a netbook soon. It’s just now that I realize you can’t bring your desktop wherever you go! Then again, I really don’t go anywhere. The vacation was the first one I’ve taken for years! ;)

Okay, so where I’ve been? I’ve been to Mindanao – southern part of the Philippines! ♥ For a person who haven’t travelled much and has always been in the city, this was the perfect vacation ever! ;) We went to New Israel in Makilala, Kidapawan. And believe it or not, there are free running monkeys there!

This is their church. Looks colorful, isn’t it? When I asked the boy who showed us around what their religion is, he said something about the Alpha and Omega. I didn’t asked further. I googled about them when I got back home, apparently they’re part of a religious sect called Moncadista.
