Bye Bye GFC!

I’ve been pretty busy these past few days with work. I still haven’t finished my first roll of film. Go figure. I’m always at work, and using the UWS after work seems impossible. It would be wasting film since I think it doesn’t do well at night. I’m so curious how the photos will turn out since my film has an iso of 200. ;) I read somewhere it’s better to have iso 400 on the superheadz ultra wide and slim. Well, I’m just a few shutter clicks to go.. ;)

Anyway, I’ve known for months now that the Google Friend Connect (otherwise known as the GFC) will not be made available to other blog platforms (like WordPress) anymore other than Blogger. I’ve only been using GFC for less than a year, and so far I like it. ;( I like it because you can see who follows you, and you can do a drop by on their blogs if they have one. I’m sad to see it go. ;( I’ll be removing the GFC soon on my blog. But don’t worry. You can always subscribe via feed or email. I think they’re the ones that stay forever.

I have heard about this gfc issue but no idea what to do about it.
I will have to tell my followers to subscribe via email too. Sounds nice :)
Busy busy days are about to welcome me next few weeks. Hope the busy days don’t make you feel too tired to have your me-time, Arvee! ♡

What sort of blog platform do you use? Maybe you can switch to Blogger :) Hope you are having a good new year.

I have heard this too. It stinks because I think people will lose a bunch of followers. Stinking Google!

  4. Man, that sucks about GFC, luckily I’m on Blogger.. so I guess it’s not an issue for me, but I feel bad for the people like you who use other platforms!
I know, I want to get out and use film so badly but I can’t find the time. Plus, I need to get my Pentax looked at to make sure it’s clean.
We’ll get out and about SOMEDAY! :)

Personally I love using films with an iso of 200 – it gives my images a really nice nostalgic feel.
Hope you end up liking the end results of yours :)
