Do you like to know more about me? I’ve had this saved in one of my drafts. I finally hit the Publish button. ▲
- For starters, I’m a bit wary on doing more personal posts. I really admire those people who share most of their deeper personal thoughts online. Sharing is not that easy for me. To tell you the truth, I have a hard time listing random things about myself for this post.
- I have never learned how to ride a bike. I’ve included this in my list of things to do before I die. Seriously. I think there came an opportunity or two (or three) in the past wherein I could have learned how, but… I’ll try again.
- I want to go to school again. And I will most probably go for Programming (my first choice), and Graphic Design. It’s tough being a nurse. There’s a very slim chance this will happen, because this means quitting my job, and start spending again on tuition.
- I’ve never been out of the country. There’s major wanderlust when browsing over gorgeous images of Ireland’s mountains and beaches. I want to go to Ireland.
- I’m an only child. I like it, but it gets boring most of the time which makes me wish I have a brother or a sister instead and a big family in the future.
- Besides having fear of heights, I also fear public speech. My hands get clammy, my pulse rate increases. I could hear the lub-dub of my heart. I have had enough of these while in nursing school, but sometimes in life, some situations call for a speech. Fear of speaking in public combined with difficulty in sharing things about yourself could turn out to be ugly.
- I think I cry too easily in movies, especially the happily ever after romantic movies. I’ve cried buckets with Titanic, and I swear I’ll never watch it again. Although I love dogs, I’ve skipped watching Hachiko, since I know it could be something like My Dog Skip – heartbreaking.
I hope you’re having a great week! ♥

Posts like this are great. I love having the opportunity to find out more about a person. I really hope you can go back to school. Are there any evening classes you can fit in around your current job? That might be a good place to start and if you like it/take to it well, then you could take the plunge.
Hello Michelle! I don’t think evening classes are more my style, but I will give it a thought. My hospital work sometimes requires a bit of extra time, so… I am usually a bit tired after work. ;(
I love reading about these random things about you. I don’t think you’ve shared too much but I feel like I know just that little bit more about you and who you are. I cry easily too at movies, I’ve been known to sob even when i’m watching something on a little airplane screen. But i don’t think there’s anything wrong with that!
I so agree. There’s definitely nothing wrong with crying! ;) But sometimes, I just tend to avoid heavy drama. lol.
You don’t have to be afraid for the world to get to know you! I loved reading these random little facts about you.
I live in the Netherlands and you might know, everybody bikes there. To school, to work, to the shopping mall. I bike for three quarters of an hour to get to school. I sometimes bike one and a half hour to get to one of my friends. Maybe that’s a bit long, even for us, but biking is very common here! I can’t imagine someone who just can’t bike…! But it’s okay though, you don’t live here :’)
But I might live there! Haha. Still… it’s never to late to try and learn how to bike. ;) ♥ Thanks, Apollonia! ;)
But it’s always so nice to read personal posts about bloggers, we can identify more with you now :) I’m with you on the Celtic wanderlust, Ireland looks so magical. I’ve been once but it wasn’t long enough to see what I wanted. Difficult to catch Ireland out of the rain but here’s hoping!
I’ve only seen Ireland in movies and blogs, and I think it’s a beautiful place. So green, and yes, it looks magical! ;)
This is a sweet post! It’s nice to see you sharing personal stuff. We all need to let things out and set your minds free from mess and fuzz.
Hello Anh, thanks for dropping by! ;) I was able to send my reply to your emails. Let me know what you think! ;)
this is a great post Arvee. I never learnt to cycle either, though my parents got me a cycle when I was 10 or 11, I felt I was too old by then as all my friends had learnt.
I really hope you can go back to school soon.
We’re never too old to try and learn. Although, I think I’ll probably need to find myself a less public place for the biking lessons to save myself from humiliation. ;)
I really like reading your posts and the picture is so beautiful! I wish I could visit Ireland too, my favorite poet is Irish so…
I actually just stopped by to let you know I have tagged you for the Liebster blog award xx
Thank you Paula! I think I’ll do the questions soon. ;)
Well, I do live in Ireland so I hope to meet you soon here!
Oh my heck, I don’t know how I stumbled upon your blog but I think we’re semi soul mates! :) I am also an only child and where great things about it but it’s a lonely life. Not one I recommend to other people. I also don’t know how to ride a bike! My husband keeps telling me he’ll teach me but to be honest I’m a little freak out to try now. I’d also love to go back to school. Masters in Art History or something with English. Someday, right?
