I wanted you to meet a little friend of mine. Tootsie has been with us in the family for years since I was in second grade. We gave him that name after the candy Tootsie Roll. It was later that I watched Dustin Hoffman’s movie Tootsie that I found out it’s supposed to be a girl’s name. Haha. Anyway, Tootsie is considered to be my mom’s other child. I don’t have siblings so I really don’t mind. ;) This guy’s old right now, and have a teeny problem with arthritis. But doesn’t he have adorable eyes? ♥

Bye Bye GFC!
I’ve been pretty busy these past few days with work. I still haven’t finished my first roll of film. Go figure. I’m always at work, and using the UWS after work seems impossible. It would be wasting film since I think it doesn’t do well at night. I’m so curious how the photos will turn out since my film has an iso of 200. ;) I read somewhere it’s better to have iso 400 on the superheadz ultra wide and slim. Well, I’m just a few shutter clicks to go.. ;)
Anyway, I’ve known for months now that the Google Friend Connect (otherwise known as the GFC) will not be made available to other blog platforms (like WordPress) anymore other than Blogger. I’ve only been using GFC for less than a year, and so far I like it. ;( I like it because you can see who follows you, and you can do a drop by on their blogs if they have one. I’m sad to see it go. ;( I’ll be removing the GFC soon on my blog. But don’t worry. You can always subscribe via feed or email. I think they’re the ones that stay forever.

Just being random
It’s five more days till Christmas and a few days more till New Year but why do I find it depressing? ;( I feel like I haven’t really accomplished anything this year. Life. ♥

We had our early Christmas party today. :) We had lots of food – pasta carbonara with mango, fish fillet, lechon, and buttered chicken to name a few.

I wanted to be all positive on this post but I can’t help it. We had fun at the party but I think I got annoyed at some point. It might just be a small thing but I think it ruined my mood for the rest of the party. ;( Shouldn’t a person take care of what he/she borrowed especially if it’s expensive? We’re not the only people there. ;( I don’t want to rant but it hurt my feelings a little bit. ;(
An inconvenience
I lost my ATM card yesterday. Bah! What an inconvenience! Where in the world have I lost it?! I still have my phone and web hosting bills to pay, Christmas contributions at work (not to mention I still have to buy for our unit Christmas party), and I was thinking of buying a camera bag this week! ;(
I called my bank and thank God the operator said I don’t have to go through submitting a notarized affidavit of loss. I will just bring valid IDs after four days to claim my new card. ;( The fourth day falls on a Saturday, and I don’t believe my bank is open on weekends which also meant I’ll be claiming it on a Monday! ;( I’m broke for the whole week. :D
Update 12/8/11: Found my card tucked away in one of the small pockets of my large bag. Too bad, the bank said I can’t use the old card (it will be permanently blocked) until I get the new one. I swear I searched for it in my bag many times but couldn’t find it!!! Arggghh.
I’m a tweaker!
It felt like ages since I’ve written a post on this blog. I’ve been pretty busy at work, I couldn’t keep up with blog reading and replying to emails. ;( So sad. But, apparently not too busy to tweak my blog design! LOL. I changed the flower on my header. I wanted it to be egg yolk yellow but decided it’s a bit too bright for the eyes, so I went for a red orange color instead. I love the Cavetto Italic font so much, I used it again. ;) I love fonts! I also changed a bit of fonts here and there. ;)
Anyway, I received an email last week from Nadia of Cupcake Couture regarding my Package Project partner! ♥ I’m so excited about this whole thing, I can’t stop thinking what I’m gonna give her. ;) This would be the perfect time to get creative! ;) I would love to receive… hmmm… a camera strap perhaps for my dslr? ;) I love notebooks, pens, pocket books, tote bags. Anything would be perfect. ;)
Possible blog makeover
So sorry I haven’t been around much. I had work plus I just got my computer working again. Yay! I have a new hard disk. My previous ’40′ GB of hard disk got fried. Yeah. 40GB hard disk that’s nine years old. I know it will soon give up on me sooner or later. ♥ ;) Thankfully, I have my important files stored on my portable Transcend hard disk. ;)
I’ve now got my Photoshop installed and will try to start working on my to-dos. First would be the buttons for the ad swaps. ;) I will send them out as soon as possible. Just a little patience will do a great deal. Also, I’m thinking of a possible blog makeover just in time for Christmas or before the year ends. ♥ I’m still working on some ideas. ♥ What do you like to see?

I’m still alive!
Hello again! ;) I just wanted to let you know that I’m still alive! It’s been three days but it seemed like forever! I’m still out of town. I can’t check my emails as much as I want to. Or read your blogs! So I will be suuupper behind on what’s going on in the blogosphere! ;( I would probably have a couple of thousands of unread articles in my reader by the time I will get back from my trip! I was about to go to sleep when I discovered this Tumblr site made by Kate from For Me, For You. I entertained myself reading crazy/hilarious/mean comments on Pinterest. People keep forgetting the “Be Nice” rule especially on sites like Pinterest.
